Responsibilities

Job Summary

Coordinate and supervise one or more programs. Provide oversight of administration and implementation of program work plan and budgets.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide oversight of administration and implementation of project work plan and budgets
  • Provide supervision of project staff
  • Responsible for budget tracking/fiscal accounting and assuring that program expenses are allowable within contract terms
  • Responsible for recommending and generating budget revisions and justifications
  • Responsible for internal and external program reporting, such as progress and final reports 
  • Oversee completion of program objectives and recommend changes in scope as needed or appropriate
  • Participate in development of programs and assists grant writing team, as needed
  • Assure completion of evaluation process
  • Act as a liaison between clinical sites and students
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing all MATP candidates
  • Assist with the coordination of internship and externship placements
  • Attend and facilitate meetings, as required
  • Serve as liaison and assist with collaborative support activities with community agencies, local government representatives, neighborhood residents and other Vista Community Clinic project staff
  • Perform direct services, as required
  • Participate in quarterly internal audits
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature review, in-service meetings and workshops

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ related experience
  • Valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes; minimum two years’ driving experience; no more than two violations or a single ticket/accident valued at more than one point on driving record

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Ability to track and manage time and budgets effectively
  • Ability to plan and facilitate internal and community meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary for communication with patients/clients, clinicians and other staff
  • Ability to interface with all levels of personnel in a professional manner
  • Ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the constraints of government funded programs
  • Ability and willingness to meet the organization’s attendance and dress code policies
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner
  • Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Experience/familiarity with computers, business e-mail, communication systems and internet search capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel

Pay Range

  • $25.00 - $27.00 Depending On Experience
