Participate in the full report generation process; analysis, definition of requirements, development, documentation, testing, deployment and support. 

• Perform technical, application support to all locations in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and prepare reports to support VCC clinical and provider units utilizing available analytics and data mining tools, including but not limited to: NextGen Healthcare, Microsoft Applications and Crystal Reports, system-specific reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or other related reporting software.
• Work to develop and understand data requirements and report specifications
• Prepare statistical reports, narrative reports, or graphic presentations of data to provide useful information and commentary for internal purposes, reporting and external stakeholders as requested
• Develop analytics related to the health plan data

Minimum

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2, Transact-SQL, and SQL Server Analysis Services
• Minimum one year experience working within a healthcare setting or with clinical processes
• Minimum one year experience with data modeling and query optimization
• Valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes

Preferred

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or related field
• Experience with multidimensional data warehouses and data programming

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Data analysis, data presentation, spread sheet and database capabilities. Working knowledge of data analysis, study methodology, and preparing professional documents. Basic understanding of statistical methods
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Pay

• $40.00 - $43.00 hourly
