Responsibilities

The Patient Registration Manager is responsible for the successful operations of VCC’s Registration process and staff. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, implement the strategic vision of the department, as well as staff training, and ensure the successful achievement of departmental and organizational goals. The manager understands and provides best practice guidance and recommendations for opportunities across Patient Registration Services, while leveraging continual process and workflow improvement, and creating and maintain a positive and productive working environment for staff.

  • Manage the training and development of patient registration staff.
  • Oversees VCC’s patient registration processes.
  • Ensure services meet timeliness and ease of registration and related services.
  • Responsible for continual process and workflow improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare administration, preferable with focus on patient registration or front desk operations
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare billing and insurance processes
  • Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Pay Range

  • $31.00 - $38.00 per hour DOE
