    The perfect opportunity for a motovated highschool student!!


    Greet and respond to patients according to teen phone line procedures, via telephone and in person. Perform a variety of clerical functions, including compiling data for reports and preparing standard forms. Provide education and counseling on topics such as family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, AIDS and birth control. Responsible for patients checking in through completing encounters, personal record forms, etc. Work under close supervision.


    • Greet patients in a professional manner
    • Answer all incoming telephone calls within three rings, transfer calls or take and route messages in a timely and appropriate manner
    • Operate teen phone line: make appointments, answer questions, give information about reproductive health
    • Communicate to patients regarding the length of their visit and update as to when they will be seen
    • Complete all appropriate paperwork
    • Maintain waiting areas by picking up trash and straightening chairs, etc. as needed
    • Enter accurate data in the computer according to Office of Family Planning and Wellness Foundation guidelines
    • Update information templates at each visit
    • Perform financial and eligibility screening for clinic programs
